If you are a complete newbie to affiliate marketing, and want a step-by-step guide on how you can start off with affiliate marketing, you might want to check out Ewen Chia’s Newbie Cash Machine.

This is basically a step-by-step guide that steps you through (with lots of illustration) everything you need to know about affiliate marketing – from market research to choosing a profitable product to promote as an affiliate to setting up your website to driving traffic to your website (and sales). Everything is explained in this guide.

I personally have used this guide myself and managed to generate quite a healthy income from affiliate marketing every month – you might want to check it out (I’ve placed the link in the “Source” section).

The best decision is yours. You have to keep your interests in mind and then find the best match. Be prepared for putting forth a lot of effort. Affiliate Marketing is not as easy as many self proclaimed guru’s claim. Choosing the proper training can help to simplify the process.

I personally would recommend SiteSell and Site Build It based on my own experiences. With SiteSell they can train you to build an affiliate website that is centered around your interests and sell products that relate.

and/or you can become an affiliate of their own 5 pillar marketing. http://affiliates.sitesell.com/UnstoppableDreams.html
I have done both. Becoming an affiliate of Site Build It does not cost anything. They do not charge you anything after joining either. Nor do they teach you to go out spamming your affiliate link. They have strict guidelines. If the guidelines are not followed you can loose your affiliation without notice.
So you can either market yourself (your products and services of choice), a company (their products and services) or you can choose to do both.

They most important thing (again) is finding what matches your interests. I would be happy to elaborate on my experiences if you’d like.

Credic J is correct about being able to get a lot of free great information about Affiliate Marketing through blogs.

    HAPPY STUDIES AND BEST WISHES!

Its all about down line or what ever. You buy the kit, get the training, but where is the job. All you have is the resell rights and you have to be really good to sell it.

Well that’s my thought. If you can make it work then go right a head and try it.

The best free training you can get is through personal study.
Avoid the so called guru’s. There is an endless amount of free information available on the net.

    Best Regards!

The most successful affiliate websites are those websites that choose affiliate programs that their audience need and want. Affiliate programs work best if they are integrated into the site — not the main and only focus of the site.

This is especially true for affiliate programs that even provide web pages to their affiliates — which means that if they have 1,000 affiliates then you will have 999 competitors offering the same products with the same exact website (with a minor variations here and there). Plus, you will be competing with the main company as well.

Think of Amazon.com and its affiliate program. There are hundreds of thousands of Amazon affiliates selling books and other products for Amazon. If the site owner simply creates a website with books of Amazon — without some value added — people will not bother to visit his site. So income will be minimal at most.

The key is for your site to create value added that visitors will want to come that is unique. If visitors will want to buy books, for example, why would they come to YOU instead of going straight to Amazon? Why go to an affiliate when they can go to the real deal?

You’re on the right track with your plan to include articles (the more original the better). If you want to promote several affiliates, think of a theme for your site that will link them together — or create different websites.

The benefit of a website relative to a blog is the flexibility in terms of layout that it provides. Blogs are more limited.

I need opinions about Affiliate Marketing prospects.?
I have started working with a few programs that offer Affiliate Marketing training, and was inundated with so much information that I was overwhelmed and haven’t started any blog or web site yet. I’m not sure which programs I should stay with and which I should cancel because they don’t seem too helpful.

Do any of you professionals have advice for me as to the process and priorities, as well as which programs are the best?

I have a web site that I want to promote under children’s safety: http://www.keep-safelockbox.com, and thought I would add links and maybe a page for articles on keeping children safe. However, I also want to have a blog or web site for retirees with several pages on different subjects that can promote other affiliates. Which is better–a blog or web site for that purpose?
    Thanks for any help.

Has anyone tried the affiliate marketing training at http://www.bestnomoneysystem.com?
It seems like a good system, 30 part video training and you get master resell rights. Before I buy, I’d like to know if anyone has used it or tried it. Thanks, Travis
