Article Writing – How to get Content for your Articles
Are you stuck when it comes to get content idea for your articles? If it’s the case, this article will show you an easy step by step that you can follow and apply every time you are running out of ideas to write about.
When you are just starting in article marketing, the first thing you need to ask yourself is what is the niche I want to write about? When you want to write an article to promote your product, don’t focus on the product itself. This is the worst mistake you could make. Your focus should be on the niche, not the product.
For example, if you are selling “prescription glasses” you wouldn’t want your article to focus on glasses, but rather on the eyes, eyes site, the physiological make up of the eye and the importance of a good eye sight. You see the point here?
Writing about the eye sight and everything you could think about the eye, will give you a much wider range of themes to write about than just prescription glasses. You will have plenty of room to talk about your prescription glasses in your resource box.
The problem you are going to run into if you try to talk about your specific product within your article is that:
1) You will have a very limited topic range to write about and you will run out very quickly.
2) Your articles could be rejected by lots of directories because of promotional content.
Where to get ideas for you articles content?
You can get ideas for your articles just about anywhere you can read information about your niche. This includes online and off line sources. Online sources could be any articles, blogs, websites and forums about your niche. You can also go to Amazon and look for books about your niche or product and get tons of knowledge that way.
Off line, you can visit libraries and book stores to get a good hard copy source that you can keep handy and refer to several times over.
Every time you run into some information that is key for your articles write it down on a note pad or a notebook for future references. If an idea comes to mind as you read during your research, write it down right away. Ideas to write about have the very bad habit to never come back again. If you don’t write it you will lose it.
When you get into this very easy habit of researching and taking notes for your articles, you will never run out of content to write about again.
