Halloween – Fancy Dress Fantastic

Author: Randy Norton

Of course you do not need to be told about Halloween.  It is a world famous festival celebrated every year at the end of October.  It is all about partying hard. The festivity involves having bonfires, ghost tours, watching horror movies and of course, attending costume parties.

In fact, the costume parties are what truly represent the playful spirit and spooky attraction of Halloween to most of us. Schools organise them – societies host them. Individuals call family and friends at home to enjoy. The pre-condition in each case is to dress up in fancy dress. You have to impersonate something or someone. Spooky is preferred. However, it’s not essential to dress up as a ghost or devil all the time. You can be a shepherd or a duckling or a prince or princess, too.

If you have problems finding Halloween costumes, there is hardly anything to worry about. With the immense popularity of the festival at large, there are numerous fancy dress costumes for sale online. There are special stores dedicated to providing Halloween costumes. They offer all kind of fancy dresses, including adult fancy dress costumes for men and women, fancy dress wigs, fancy dress masks, caps, hats and tiaras, not to mention exhaustive fancy dress ideas!

If you are also confused or indecisive, try visiting the exhaustive online store for Halloween costumes at http://www.fancy-dress-fantastic.com.au. They have all the fancy dress ideas you can possibly think of. They cater dresses for males and females of all sizes and shapes, right from toddlers to grandmas and grandpas.

What should Sonia wear to my fancy dress Halloween party?
It is any fancy dress, not just Halloween, but she is a scrooge and hates halloween and parties. She does not want to make a fool of herself and does not have any money.

What should I give away as a booby prize for a Halloween themed fancy dress party?
We are having a Halloween themed fancy dress party, we already have the prize for the best costume but I honestly can’t think of some thing really funny and utterly useless to use as a booby prize, any suggestions? Thanks.

You could put on dark eye-shadow and dark/thick eyeliner on your eyes. Also, to dramatize the “doll” look, you can put baby powder on your face (make it whiter), then put blush on your cheeks (dolls always have those pink circles on their cheeks). You can add some freckles around the bridge of your nose and cheeks as well (with brown eyeliner). If you have a hair curler, you can put your hair up in two pigtails (high or low), and curl one or two small strands (could also leave two strands of hair out of the pigtails, and curl them so that you have one on each side of your face). Hope this helped, and have fun at ur party! =)

I like to give lint brushes to my friends. One year I went to a party for twins and gave them each a tube sock. You could give them an old newspaper, or a bunch of popsicle sticks. Maybe get a bunch of those sugar packets of sweet and low and coffee stirers. You could get a really big box, and put something really small in it, like a cotton ball, and wrap it up in really fancy paper and bows. Or wrap it in newspapers.

    Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd

    The Joker and Harley Quinn

Cleopatra and Mark Antony, or another famous king and queen

Shakespeare – Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, etc.

    Blood-spattered nightmare doctor and nurse

    Pirate captain and his wench

for 3 maybe charlies angels, or just all matching something.

if it’s 2 people you could do an angel/devil thing, or some other kind of opposites thing.
