There are a shocking number of individuals who believe that when they start in Internet Marketing they will be able to do a couple hours of work (at most) and then spend the rest of their days slacking, playing video games, watching daytime television, etc. You should understand by now that this is not how it works. Just like at any other job, the attitude you utilize will set the pace for how much success you should find (or won’t, if that is the case). If you think I dont want to work, you wont generate any money. When you’ve got a serious but confident approach and outlook, though, you have the potential to make all kinds of money. 1. Consider it like a regular job because that is what it is: a job. Lots of new IMers settle in at their couches with laptop computers and also the remote control. They seem to think that it’s absolutely possible to do just a little bit of work while still slacking off. Keeping a television on in the background for background noise (or the radio) is one thing. Settling in to watch it is entirely another. You have to have a workplace to work at. This will help you keep the doing the job time independent from the enjoyable time. It is just like how telemarketers are instructed to smile while they talk because the individuals they call should be able to “hear” that smile. When you think “I’m good at what I do,” “I can get this done” and “I will meet all of my goals today” that frame of mind will infuse your work, customers will pick up on it and then they will think the same things about you.
You might be thinking that the entire “it is essential to have a good attitude” thing is trite and best left to daytime talk shows, but it continues to be true that most success is found by people who have a good attitude. People who believe “I want money to find me” do not create much money at all but folks who think “I am going to make money today” find high levels of success!
