The biggest winners of this year’s American Music Awards are hit R&B couple Rihanna and Chris Brown. Rihanna, famous for hits like “Umbrella” and “Disturbia,” won two awards in the Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist categories. On the other hand, Chris took home the awards for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Soul/ R&B Male Artist, and Artist of the Year.
In terms of their relationship, Chris Brown has said that he’s fond of Rihanna but that, “Our relationship is growing. We started off as friends and we’re getting a little bit closer now… But I don’t want to let down all my girlfriends, so all the ladies out there, I still love y’all!” Dispelling rumors that they’ll be moving in together, the “With You” crooner added, “I’m 19! I barely want my friends to stay over more than three days.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna and Chris Brown have gotten entangled with some paparazzi trouble. Rihanna and Chris Brown are being sued by paparazzo Luis Santana after Rihanna’s bodyguards allegedly beat him and broke his camera. Reports state that, “a photographer with tbt, a St. Petersburg alternative publication, is suing the R&B singers, saying their bodyguards beat him and broke his camera.” The paparazzo filed the million lawsuit, which “also names the bodyguards and a St. Petersburg club where the attack allegedly occurred May 6.” However, Chris Brown’s attorney, Kenneth Meiselas, have said that neither Chris Brown nor his security guards were involved in the incident.
However, the couple’s legal troubles don’t seem to be affecting their star power since they’ve been spotted performing in a variety of gigs. Rihanna and Chris Brown have been touring the world and performing in countries in Asia like the Philippines and Singapore where the Barbados gal performed hits like “Pon de Replay,” “Don’t Stop the Music,” “Take a Bow,” “Shut Up and Drive,” “Good Girl Gone Bad,” “Hate That I Love You,” and “Umbrella.” Chris, who wrote Rihanna’s hit song “Disturbia,” has mentioned that he wrote two songs for Britney Spears. He said, “I actually wrote a couple songs for her (Spears) now. We’re on the same label, so all the executives heard the records and they love the records.”

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Rihanna and Chris Brown have pulled out of the Grammy Awards following an alleged violent incident on Saturday night, Access Hollywood has learned.
The LAPD is currently investigating Brown for assault following an alleged domestic violence felony battery against an unidentified woman at 12:30 AM on Sunday in Los Angeles.
According to the LAPD, the R&B singer and the woman were in a vehicle on North June St. in the Hancock Park area of LA, where the victim claims an argument occurred. Brown allegedly stopped the car and the woman suffered “visible injuries” and identified the singer as her attacker.
Spokesperson for both stars told the LAPD that they were “well”.

Officer Karen Smith from the LAPD confirms to PEOPLE:
“He turned himself in around 7 p.m. to one of our stations and is being interviewed by detectives now,” Officer Smith said. It’s unclear whether the singer will be formally arrested and booked.

Chris Brown is now being held on $50,000 bail.
Bail settled.

According to the New York Daily News, a security guard at Ceders-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles saw Rihanna being taken in for treatment at the hospital Sunday, and another spy says the argument stemmed from Rihanna accusing Chris Brown of checking out other women at Clive Davis’ party.

It has been confirmed that the assault victim was indeed Rihanna (under the name Robyn Fenty).A more disturbing addition would be that Chris Brown’s crime report included the citation “assault with a deadly weapon”.

“If he pleads no contest to misdemeanor battery, he may be slapped with only 2 years of probation, fines, enrollment in a domestic violence treatment program, and attendance to counseling sessions.”
Brown is to appear in court March 5th.

No deadly weapons were involved.However, a person’s foot or other body part can be considered a deadly weapon depending on the circumstances.
Ironically, sources claimed that there was an umbrella in the car. Oh come on!

Reports show that Rihanna suffered from two huge contusions on both sides of her forehead, a bloody lip and bloody nose.There is serious swelling and bruising. There are indeed bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.
Police claimed that her situation was indeed “horrific”.
Rihanna claims Chris struck her with his fists and that’s what did the damage.
Her family now is bringing her back down to Barbados, away from the abusive Chris Brown.
Her upcoming concert in Malaysia is not confirmed to go on as planned.

OMG!! I’m not usually interested in Celebrity affairs and dating andf things, but this is BIG! Omg! Police also report that Rihanna had a broken nose! He tried to KILL her and all he has to do is pay $50,000?! W say Leona Lewis was involved too, but with no confirmed evidence.
I looked on YouTube for a picture or video or something to confirm it’s true but didn’t find any!! What do you think was the real reason? Is there any evidence other than people’s words?
