There are a lot of training systems out there, and you should definitely find one that helps give you a competitive edge. But don’t settle for a training program that’s outdated or makes you feel uncomfortable. A training program should educate and entertain, so look for one that gives you the best of both. Following are 3 ways you should never go about finding a training program:
Don’t Go For Familiarity –
If you choose a marketing training program based on familiarity, you could be wasting your chance to work with a really cutting edge trainer. For example, if you have a friend or family member who has already started an online home based business opportunity, you should observe his training program. But don’t stop at observation! Compare other training programs to see what other mentors may have to offer you. You may be surprised at how much other information is available out there, once you begin shopping around. Also, what works for one person may not work for you, so take your own personal learning style into account when seeking a training program. If you are a visual learner, look for a video-based program; if you do well in a school setting, look for one that focuses on reading and listening.

Beware of training programs that offer a lot of outdated methods as the core of their curriculum. Outdated methods include recruiting friends and family members, and looking within your local community for leads. The most profitable online businesses use social media marketing strategies, attraction marketing, and other cutting-edge methods to attract a following.
