make sure your robots.txt file doesn’t have restrictions. check the google webmaster tool. it should just say:
User-agent:
* Allow: /
Now, if it does say that then download that file and upload it to your website’s main file manager.

Your host if it is a decent host should have both MySQL and free applications for you to install. As long as you host has MySQL then you can create the necessary SQL DB that WordPress requires to do it’s thing. So when you use the application installer on most hosts to install WordPress the SQL DB installation should be a part of the WordPress installation procedure. You could always manually create an SQL DB and upload and install WordPress yourself, but having the whole process automated by your host is very quick and convenient. You did not specify that you have paid hosting, but I am assuming it is paid hosting not free hosting. Be sure to write down your SQL DB name, username and password – you may need to add this info to the wp-config.php file. Most web hosts update the WordPress wp-config.php file in the installation so you don’t need to enter the SQL DB info yourself manually. WordPress is a CMS platform based on user submissions / posts – yours and anyone else who wants to add posts to your blog. Good Luck!

There are a few different things I have tried and II still don’t have to many but it all depends on how you blog and what you blog about I guess…
First I upgraded to a paid for domain for 10 a year I think it was but its still through blogger and I posted my url my website address on yahoo and google search as well as I even have a tagged and myspace account I have placed my link on as well.
I have even answered a few anime and blogger questions rite here on yahoo answers and posted a link to my blog for examples and such…
I have even signed up for a few forums and posted my link in my profiles on all of the forums I have signed up for and I give a little hello on all the forums I sign up for so for example if 10 people see your post on a forum then check your profile they might say hay I’m into that too and just take a peek at your blog…

How to make blog from blogger fit all screen resolutions?
Some other blogs have figured out how to make their blogs adjust to different screen resolutions, to fit the screen of the view best. While mine just looks tiny on bigger ones 1600×900 etc.
