Sales copy is the key to getting people to buy your online info products, ebooks and membership sites or subscribe to your Internet marketing ezine, whatever the topic of focus may be.
Most people make a few very simple mistakes in their online sales copy. Let’s cover how you can avoid making those mistakes.
1. Talking about who you are, how great your ebook, info product or membership site is, or how wonderful your Internet marketing ezine is.
People don’t care about you, what you sell or what you write. They only care what those things willl do for them. And that’s a big difference.
2. Failing to use the WIFM principle right off the bat.
From the very start of your sales copy, you want to use WIFM — “what’s in it for me?” That’s the single most important thing you can ever learn about writing sales copy.
3. Not creating a yes ladder.
This is an old trick from selling. You get the prospect saying yes over and over again. You may have fallen for that sales trick before because as simple and obvious as it is, it’s actually rooted in hypnotic sales principles.
What happens with the yes ladder is the critical mind examines the first three or four statements very carefully. But if those pass the test, the critical mind relaxes. This is when you then start adding in additional agreements that serve your persuasive or sales purpose.
In other words, you do this gradually and not all at once.
4. Writing a headline that fails to capture the interest of the reader.
When you’re in a hurry to crank out a sales letter, it’s easy to forget that you need to really polish up your headline.
If your headline lacks punch, you’ll actually reduce the time-on-page of your reader because they aren’t convinced they need to read through your web page, web site or sales letter.
5. Not spelling out the benefits in enough detail.
This is one of the most common mistakes I see. You have to spell out the benefits of your product or service in vivid detail. You can’t do this in 500 words unless you sell something that’s an impulse purchase.
So the secret is to be thorough and detailed in spelling out the benefits to your prospective reader.
6. Not spending time to learn from those who have gone before you about what works and what doesn’t. It’s no secret what works.

hello. I have experience using a good bookmarking software, called Bookmarking demon. using a software can help you save time. though sometimes doing it manually is also good. basing on my experience it worked well in boosting my websites pr and google ranking. in avoiding spam you need to always be aware of what you are doing, submitting duplications are the ones causing spam. if you are doing it right and ethically you will not be spammed.

All right I’ll help you. I spend around $50 – $80 on this site per month and my return is anywhere from $250 – $400 per month. Not a huge amount but well worth it for me. It’s not just one ezine that your ads are run in, they run your ads in multiple ezines and it’s pretty cheap. You can get one block of ads for $10 or buy multiple blocks for $10 each. If you’re on a budget then that’s where I would start. Just one more thing they don’t take these kinds of websites:
Get-Rich-Quick. (Ads and programs promising fantasy income).
Bulk Mail. (SPAM)
“Gifting” programs, “report” selling programs etc.
All kind of “donations”.
Pornography/adult/nudity.
Psychics.
Illegal drugs. (Including tobacco and alcoholic beverages). Note! Legal health drugs accepted!
Illegal downloads of copyright products, software, film, music etc.
Net Detective and similar spy programs.
Gambling sites.
Ads for political and/or religious websites.
Good luck with your advertising : http://rds.yahoo.com/**http%3a//cli.gs/2-bucks-each

Newsletters are hard to pin down as far as getting your money’s worth. There is no easy way to track their actual subscriber base.
You might consider instead using inexpensive Public Relations.
There are several companies which write a feature article based on your product or services and which deliver it nationwide to smaller newspapers and magazines. These publications often print the articles verbatim and you get nationwide exposure for a low price.
Not only that but your article looks like an article, not an ad. Amazing results on a relative shoestring.

Secrets of the Big Dogs first appeared in 2001.
In those days it was all about hosting FFA sites. It was costly to operate, and its efficacy was a little controversial.
I see that it has now been updated for 2006, so it could well be a very different program.
If you are new to Internet Marketing, before you start to spend/waste your hard earned cash on ebooks and marketing systems, I would suggest you join some of the excellent forums available. Many of the people there will be glad to give you FREE, informed, valuable, friendly help.
You will save yourself a lot of time, work, and money.

Internet marketing tools?
Do all those blasters/submitters (classifieds, ezine, blog, message boards, article, safelists etc) really work?
Has anyone had any good experience with them? Over the last week I was just about to buy some of them but something stopped me right before making the payment. Something that told me to do a little research about them before buying. And to my surprise most of them were scams or pieces of software that were spamming the above mentioned websites (safelists, classifieds, blogs aso)
If anyone knows any such marketing tool (blaster/submitter) that it’s returning them good results without spamming, please do share!
Thanks!

What ezine advertising have you used with positive results? Where should I look for targeted ezine advertising?
I am just getting started in Internet marketing and have read that ezine advertising is one of the best ways to advertise a website or small business online. I want to get the most “bang for my buck” as I don’t have a large advertising budget. I was just wondering if anyone with some experience in this area could give me some positive feedback on sources they have used in the past. I don’t mind using the search engines to look for listings but there are zillions of them and of course each one claims to be the best. Please help me pinpoint some good ezine ad sources to advertise my small business website.

What is your TOP 10 website promotion list?
My TOP 10 promotion list. What is your top 10?
1. Search engines.
2. Forums and Message boards are a great way to promote your link. Just put the link in your signature.
3. Use Free Ad Boards. for eg. http://BusinessFreeAd.com or http://ovgo.com These are boards that you can post a text ad free for a pre-determined period of time, usually 5 to 10 days. Then your ad expires and you are emailed the option to re-post your ad free for another cycle.
4. Free classifieds are a fast and easy way for you to start marketing, especially if you’re new to internet marketing. For eg. http://tumano.com , UsFreAds.com, etc
5. Pay per click (PPC) is now one of the most popular way to advertise in the Internet. Use Google Adwords, Yahoo! Sponsored Search, etc.
6. Social Bookmarking. Submit your links to social bookmark networks such as digg and del.icio.us
7. Use social networks such as facebook, myspace, linkedin, yuwie.com
8. Publish an E-Mail Newsletter. While it’s a big commitment in time, publishing a monthly e-mail newsletter (“ezine”) is one of the very best ways to keep in touch with your prospects, generate trust, develop brand awareness, and build future business.
9. Install a “Signature” in your E-Mail Program to help potential customers get in touch with you.
10. Write Articles for Others to Use in their Newsletters. One of the best means of marketing is by submitting articles to online article directories.
Nr.11 Register a domain and redirect the visitors. It’s a lot easier for people to find you if you have your own domain name rather than anonymousblog.blogspot. com.
