My husband has been an installer of Solar pool heating and Solar Hot Water heaters, and other things with solar for about 5 years now, we are also looking to open our own solar company, the requirements here in florida are that you have been in the solar field for 4 years and 1 year as a supervisor, then you have to buy all the books (12 in total) and stufy them and take an Exam to actually be able to get your license, so if you want to open the business doing solar you have to know solar but while i was looking into it i noticed it said “You can also substitute up to three years of college credit hours for experience.” and the college credits do not need to be construction related, i guess the best thing to do is type in yahoo “Solar license & the state you live in because each state has their own requirements! one thing is the company my husband works for, they pay about $1,800 for material and sell the systems for about $9,000, so theres money to be made!! good luck and let me know how it goes!

You store power in lead acid batteries (heavy duty car batteries). You use a diode with it so when sun goes down the power from batteries doesn’t go back to solar cells.
Then you have to run an inverter that switches power from 12V DC (if you use car batteries) to 120V AC to run household appliances. The inverter is the same thing that you can use in your car if you want to plug laptops etc into your car. It uses your car battery for power and has a receptacle in the inverter identical to want is in your house. You can buy inverters about anywhere, Autozone, Harbor Freight tools , Northern Tools, etc

This can be very expensive for home use energy.

Solar panel is not a energy storing device, rather it converts light energy to electrical energy and this energy either can directly used to run instruments or can be fed to battery for storing.
The working of the solar panel is like the inverse action of a LED, i.e. a LED converts electrical energy in to light where as a solar panel converts light energy in to electrical energy, basically it is a P-N junction diode.

How much money to build SOLAR PANEL (solar energy system)?
I read this article on good things about solar energy.
and it said ‘Solar panel construction has advanced significantly in the last 20 years and can withstand almost any weather condition. It is not even that expensive since technology has advanced so much that panel cost has been reduced significantly.’
So i was wondering how much does it actually cost now!
